The Story Behind Lalit

Some journeys are planned.
Some simply happen.
Mine… happened somewhere between cricket grounds, ringing doorbells of neighbours and then running way and discovering law.
If you had met me as a child and someone told you that one day I would become a lawyer, author, speaker, entrepreneur and lifelong reader — you probably would have laughed.
I certainly would have.
I was not the “perfect student” story.
I was the child who played endlessly, returned home late, collected injuries, created mischief, made friends everywhere and occasionally brought other parents home — not for tea, but to complain.
I lived a childhood rich in everything that truly matters — cricket on the streets, festivals with every group, endless outdoor games, old cinema memories, friendships, family warmth and a life untouched by mobile phones, social media or digital distractions.
I have fallen from heights and survived.
Burnt myself.
Crushed my toe under a cycle.
Escaped situations that could have changed life forever.
Collected memories that could easily fill a book.
Looking back today, I realise something important.
My childhood was not perfect.
It was alive.
And it was possible because of my parents.
They protected, guided and allowed me to experience life deeply.

Snapshots of Life

When Life Had No Fixed Plan

The Turning Point Called Law

After my 10th standard, like many students, I had one honest answer to the question:
"What next?"
I had no idea.
Commerce happened.
College happened.
Life happened.
But those years were not merely about classrooms.
They were years of friendships, learning from people, discovering independence and watching India evolve.
I grew up through the era of Gadar, when entire theatres erupted as Sunny Deol pulled out the handpump.
Through Lagaan, where every cricket-loving Indian felt victory before Indian cricket was regularly winning.
Through DDLJ, dreams, style, friendships and youthful imagination.
I watched my family purchase a white computer and a Maruti car — milestones that felt enormous in those days.
I learnt driving from friends.
Built friendships.
Lost some.Understood loyalty.
Understood betrayal.
Slowly, unknowingly, life was teaching lessons no syllabus ever could.

Then came Law.
And with it, something shifted.
What began as an academic choice gradually became purpose.
At K.C. Law College, law was not merely studied — it was lived.
For the first time, I experienced what it meant to blend academics with practical exposure, leadership, sports, networking and ambition.
I proudly became part of the cricket team of K.C. Law College.
Friendships deepened.
Perspectives changed.
Life expanded.
My internship under Mr. Mohan K. Nair Sir in Vashi introduced me to the practical side of legal work — the real world beyond books and classrooms.
By the time LL.B. was completed, law was no longer just education.
It had become identity.

Building a Practice. Building a Vision.

Learning Never Stopped

The legal profession taught me discipline.
But entrepreneurship taught me responsibility.
I founded LJ & Associates, followed by FIREFLIES LEGAL LLP.
Over the years, my practice evolved across:
Intellectual Property Rights - Trademarks, Patents & Copyrights, Arbitration, Litigation, Recovery & Commercial Strategy, Legal Risk & Business Advisory
More than two decades later, the learning continues.
Because every client matter is not merely a legal file.
It is a business challenge.
A human story.
A risk question.
A strategy exercise.
A decision point.
And sometimes — a lesson.

Many people complete their education and move on.
I did not.
Curiosity would not allow it.
I continued learning relentlessly.
LL.M. in IPR & IT from Mumbai University .
Masters in Business Law from NLSIU, Bangalore.
Management studies (ADBA from Wellingkar, Mumbai)
Finance studies (PGDBA from Wellingkar, Mumbai).
Diploma in Cyber law.
Diploma in Intellectual property.
Diploma in Product and Brand management.
Because somewhere within me, there was always a belief:
Law does not operate in isolation.
To understand law deeply, one must understand business, technology, people, psychology, systems and change.
That belief shaped my professional journey.

From Lawyer to Author, Speaker & Creator

The Journey Beyond Law

Public speaking entered my life unexpectedly.
One day, a senior declined to take a lecture because the audience size was “too small.”
I was asked if I could take it instead.
Without overthinking, I said yes.
That single decision opened an entirely new dimension of my life.
The lecture went well.
The response encouraged me.
And what started as one opportunity gradually became years of speaking, teaching and sharing knowledge.
Since then, I have spoken on:
Law, IPR, Trademarks, Arbitration, Business strategy, Legal awareness, Entrepreneurial thinking.
And life lessons emerging from professional realities.
The urge to simplify complexity also led me into writing.
I authored: Methods, Strategy, Solutions, Savings on Recovery of Dues – Arising out of Commercial Transactions” published by Bloomsbury Publishing House.
And continued contributing through books, articles and thought pieces.
Because knowledge grows when shared.

But my story is not only about courtrooms, clients or legal strategy.
There is another journey running parallel.
The journey of reading.
Thinking, Searching., Questioning.
Books changed me.
The writings of Acharya Mahapragya opened a door to dimensions of life I had never deeply explored before.
Human psychology, Mindset., Consciousness., Creation, Behaviour, Inner clarity, Spiritual inquiry.
That reading expanded into exploring Agam literature, philosophy, Vedic thought and human behaviour.
What fascinated me was not spirituality as ritual alone.
It was spirituality as understanding.
As psychology, As leadership, As clarity for business, family, stress and modern life.
This led to the creation of Anadi Ananth — a platform dedicated to sharing timeless wisdom through a practical, modern lens.
Because I genuinely believe ancient wisdom still has enormous relevance in boardrooms, startups, homes and personal lives.

The Human Side of the Journey

Why I Continue Writing, Reading & Speaking

Beyond professional titles and qualifications, I have remained connected with community, leadership and social engagement.
My roles across organisations, youth forums, professional groups and community institutions have taught me something invaluable:
Leadership is not about position.
It is about participation.
Contribution.
Responsibility.
And people.

Through years of legal practice, business interaction and public engagement, I noticed something increasingly common.
People are functioning.
But many are stressed.
Connected digitally.
Yet disconnected internally.
Successful externally.
Yet uncertain mentally.
This observation inspired my blogs, reflections and platforms where I share perspectives on: Law, Business, Mindset, Leadership, Life, Spiritual thinking, Human behaviour.
Because sometimes people do not need more information.
They need clarity, Perspective, Better questions.

This is a title

What Defines My Journey Today

If I had to summarise my journey in one sentence, perhaps it would be this:
A mischievous child who loved play, became a lawyer who loved learning, and continues to explore life through law, books, business, technology, spirituality and human understanding.
I do not claim to have all answers.
I remain a student - Reading, Learning, Observing, Building, Questioning, Sharing.
Because for me, life has never been about one profession or one identity.
It is about connecting ideas across worlds — law, business, technology, spirituality, leadership and human growth.
And the journey… is still unfolding
And this webpage is my wonderland where I pour out the deep dives my mind takes.
